Velkommen til min blogg! Her kommer jeg til å dele med dere hvordan det er å være en tjej som satser hardt på å oppnå de store resultatene i en veldig manssdominert sport, men der andelen tjejer – og ikke minst dyktige tjejer, er på full fremmasj.
Men først, hvem er jeg?
Jeg:
….. er en norsk/svensk tjej som har bodd 23 år i Norge og 1 1/2 år i Sverige
….. har tävlat for Norge, men fra januar 2009 er det SVERIGE som står på min skytevest
….. bor i Göteborg med min underbara pojkvän, som også tävlar i lerduveskytte, men en annen diciplin
…. er lerduveskytt på heltid
…. jobber som spinning- og coreinstruktør på Sportlife
…. er sponset med ammunisjon fra FIOCCHI www.fiocchigfl.it/
…. skyter med en Perazzi MX8 www.perazzi.it
…. går mye på bio. Ikke kun fordi bio er bra, men mest fordi jeg er så fryktelig glad i cashewnøtter med yoghurttrekk, og har måttet begrense meg til kun å få spise nøttene på bio.. :-/
… utbildad sosionom
…. har min skytetrener og mentaltrenere i Örebro
…. skyter OL-trap, som er en av de tre lerduvegrenene som skytes i OS. (De to andre er Skeet og DobbelTrap. Om jeg nevner Pia Hansen? OS-guld i DobbelTrap i 2000)
…. er en riktig husmor som baker brød, lager egen müsli, disker og alt som hör med, til min sambos store förtjusning, såklart
…. satser fullt og helt på mitt skytte, og har klare mål for hva jeg ønsker oppnå

Hvordan ser dagen ut til en som kaller seg lerduveskytt på heltid?
- På vinteren er det vanskelig å skyte pga mye snø og kulde. Vi må ha mye mer klær på og ikke riktig får kontakt med våpnene i skulderen, kulden biter på avtrekksfingeren så man plutselig trekker av før man når duen. Når snøen ligger på bakken er det vanskelig å se duene i starten. Derfor blir det skyting ca 3 ganger i uken, og fystrening (og/eller instruksjon) 1-2 ganger om dagen istedet.
- I takt med at snøen smelter og gradene smyger oppover vil skytetreningen øke, og i sesongen (april-august/september) skyter jeg 5-7 dager i uken, avhengig av reiser, konkurranser med mer.
- i store mån: fystrening på morgen/formiddag, skytetrening på tidlig ettermiddag, mntalttrening på ettermiddag. Alternativt: fystrening på morgenen, hjem og bake brød, fystrening på ettermiddagen.
Min sesong ser slik ut:
- 17.-22.februar trening på Cypern
- 15.-25.mars trening på Cypern
- 25.-29.mars tävling på Cypern
- 15.-20.mai WorldCup England
- 6.-11.juni WorldCup Italia
- ca 26.juni EM Russland (jeg må kvalifisere meg tidligere i sesongen for å bli tatt ut)
- 2.august VM Tyskland (krever også kvalifisering inneværende sesong)
